Janny and Jan went on a trip to Ecuador with Aves Travels. In no less than 23 days they discovered the four regions of this beautiful country: the fiery volcanoes of the Andes, the cloud forest, the Amazon and, as icing on the cake, an 8-day cruise with the Cormorant II along the Galápagos Islands.
Upon their return, I spoke to two very enthusiastic travellers on the phone. They expressed their compliments about their guide on the mainland: “Very good guide, knowledgeable and offered very nice ideas along the way, outside the scheduled itinerary.”
He was available when needed and also gave our guests the necessary privacy at the right times. What they also really admired was the fact that he never did anything private (like answering phone calls) in front of our guests; they truly felt that he was solely devoted to them and their well-being.
In addition, Janny and Jan were very complimentary about the fact that literally everything in such a long program was arranged along the way, which made them very relaxed and allowed for the mental space to take in all the new impressions.
Finally, about the cruise with Cormorant II and Galápagos: all praise!! The guide James, the cabin, the service, the food; they felt completely pampered.

The entire trip was a series of highlights. We started in the Andes and via the Cloud Forests we ended up in the Amazon.
The overnight stays were very special and exclusive (Hacienda Zuleta, Mashpi Lodge and San Augustin). The Cormorant II, on which we took an 8-day cruise along the Galapagos Islands, was also an unforgettable experience.
Everything was arranged down to the last detail. We could really live by the day, because we didn’t have to worry about the next day’s program. This was definitely due to the perfect organization and our fantastic guide/driver.
