The Tip Top fleet is a 100% Ecuadorian family business, founded in 1982 by Captain Rolf Witmer. Rolf is a celebrity on the islands; he is the first officially registered “Galapagueño”, born on the island of Floreana in 1933.

The Tip Top II is the only catamaran in the fleet and the smallest of the three. You will immediately feel at home on this vessel. Spread over 3 decks you will find every opportunity to relax, have a drink with your fellow travelers, enjoy dinner or freshen up and relax in your cabin.

There are 6 cabins on the lower deck, 2 of which are single cabins. The Tip Top II is therefore very suitable when traveling alone or in a group with an odd number of people. Inside you will also find the pleasant communal spaces: a nice lounge, a cosy dining area and a second lounge with audiovisual equipment where your guide will give interesting lectures each evening to prepare for the day ahead.

Situated on the promenade deck are 4 additional cabins, each with its own balcony. You can also get a drink outside at the bar and enjoy the surroundings in comfortable seats.

The sundeck is partially covered, so that you can doze off on the comfortable sun beds, sheltered from the bright sun at the equator.

The Tip Top II offers two very good 8-day expedition cruises, both options include some of the most interesting visitor locations in the archipelago.
