Monique
16 passengers, 1 guide, 9 crew, 1 cruise service officer
Catamaran Monique, one of the newest vessels (expected March 2026) to sail the Galápagos, elevates both luxury and sustainability in the archipelago. With a sleek design and twin-hull structure, the Monique offers an exceptionally smooth and stable journey, free from the rolling motion that older ships sometimes experience.
The Monique is specifically designed for small-group expeditions and accommodates 16 guests. With an almost one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio, personalised service is guaranteed, ensuring attention to every guest’s needs both on board and during excursions.
Sustainability lies at the heart of the Monique, featuring innovative technologies such as solar panels and lithium battery systems. This reduces her environmental footprint while maintaining the highest standards of luxury and comfort. Guests enjoy an efficient, worry-free experience, with every detail carefully considered.
On board, guests stay in spacious cabins with large panoramic windows offering stunning views of the Galápagos landscapes. These cabins are designed to provide peace and comfort – the perfect retreat after a day of adventure.
The culinary experience aboard the Monique features refined dishes prepared by experienced chefs using locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, while dinner is enjoyed as an intimate, sit-down meal on the Sky Deck.

Each excursion is led by certified naturalist guides from the Galápagos National Park, who share their knowledge and passion for the region’s wildlife and ecosystems. The Monique is also an excellent choice for multi-generational travel, offering an enriching experience for guests of all ages.
The Monique Catamaran is a sister ship to the Elite and the Endemic, part of a women-led cruise line known for its signature experiences. With a strong focus on premium hospitality and sustainable exploration, every journey aboard the Monique is thoughtfully curated and meaningful.
Single Occupancy
In addition to matrimonial and twin cabins, the Monique also offers a Golden Single Stateroom – an ideal option for solo travellers or families and groups with an odd number of guests.
Expeditions
Monique is committed to selecting only the finest captains, guides, chefs and crew. It is above all the people who make a journey truly unforgettable, not just the ship itself.
While the unique wildlife and landscapes of the Galápagos are the true highlights, the Monique follows carefully curated routes to the archipelago’s most beautiful sites and surrounding seas. Highlights include hiking the rugged lava fields of Fernandina, witnessing the albatross nesting sites on Española, snorkelling with sea lions near the famous “Cerro Brujo”, and exploring the iconic bird island of Genovesa. Along the way, guests have ample opportunities to see the archipelago’s iconic wildlife, including giant tortoises, land and marine iguanas, blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds and much more.
The Monique offers both short and longer itineraries, covering the Western, Central and Eastern islands. Guests can choose from 4-, 5-, or 7-night cruises.
