Aida Maria
16 passengers, 1 guide, 8 crew
The Aida Maria is one of the few yachts designed and built on the Galápagos Islands, using local materials and with the help of local artisans. It was launched in 1997. The small ship offers a good balance between an affordable Galápagos cruise and a pleasant, comfortable way of traveling.
When you step aboard, it is remarkable to remember that the entire ship is made with local wood. This beautifully polished wood has a prominent place in the decor of the ship. The yacht has 8 double cabins with traditional bunk beds. The cabins are decorated in a simple style and all have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning and classic portholes.
The common areas on board have beautifully polished wooden floors and ceilings. The salon has panoramic windows that extend the entire length of the deck. They offer a first-class view of the islands while you dine or relax with your fellow passengers.
Aida Maria also has two small sun terraces where you can enjoy the outdoors. The upper sun deck offers a beautiful view and is covered to provide shade, but you can also choose to relax in the sun on the bow of the main deck.
The Aida Maria offers various cruises of 4, 5, 6, 8 or 15 days.
