Old Town Quito Suites

Old Town Quito Suites is located on the edge of the historic centre of Quito. In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous restaurants, bars with traditional beers and a covered market where you can buy delicious Ecuadorian delicacies.

This is not a standard hotel. Your suite is a small apartment complete with living room, fully equipped kitchen, wonderful bathroom and bedroom. During the renovation of this former colonial mansion, owners Dirk and Bolivar have spared no effort to create a very nice and comfortable stay for their guests. All apartments are different, designed with an eye for detail. Vintage elements create the atmosphere and the very modern facilities offer comfort, such as fibre optic internet, USB plugins and an induction stove in the kitchen.Your apartment is an oasis of peace. Double glazing and insulated roofs completely exclude the lively noise of the city.

We enjoyed our stay in this intimate retreat in the city. On arrival we found a good bottle of wine, a fruit bowl with exotic Ecuadorian fruits and small snacks in our cozy apartment. The fridge was filled with various fresh ingredients for our breakfast. Dirk is originally a chef and it is clear that he only wants to offer his guests the very best. The next morning he was at our door with warm, freshly baked croissants and we were able to make our cup of coffee, bake an egg and prepare a delicious breakfast at our own pace.

These suites are romantic for couples and cozy for friends. Moreover, it is very pleasant for families to have a home in the city, with more freedom of movement than a standard hotel can offer.

Aves Travels only offers accommodation that we love ourselves. The love with which this colonial building has been restored and the attention to details with which the suites are decorated makes it one of our favourites in the historic centre of the city.
